Kochi Ginger &
Tosa Sake Pairing Experience

In Ino Town, the birthplace of Kochi ginger, you will visit Kariya Farm, a ginger farm dedicated to carefully cultivated produce. The farm’s representative will personally share the philosophy behind their cultivation, the passion that drives their work, and the challenges of growing exceptional ginger. You will also have the opportunity to see freshly harvested ginger, dug directly from the soil in the fields.

Details of Tour / Activity

Surrounded by the earthy aroma of the land, this experience offers a moment to appreciate both the bold character and delicate nuances of ginger in its purest form.

Afterward, you will travel to a local restaurant where a special multi-course meal centered on ginger awaits. Each dish is thoughtfully paired with selected Tosa sake from breweries along the middle reaches of the Niyodo River.

During the meal, the ginger farmer, the local sake shop owner who curates the Tosa sake, and the chef who prepares the dishes will join you at the table. From their respective perspectives, they will share their dedication to ingredients, flavors, and the art of pairing, creating a memorable dining experience where the passion of producer, craftspeople, and guests comes together.

Important information

- This experience is available by request only. Please contact us in advance to discuss your preferred schedule. (Please note that availability may vary depending on the operator’s circumstances.)

- On Tuesdays and Fridays, only the dinner course is available.

- As this program includes alcohol consumption, we kindly ask that you refrain from driving to the venue.

- If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform us at the time of booking.

- The tour will proceed in light rain. We kindly recommend wearing clothing suitable for potentially muddy conditions in the fields.

- Only one group per day can be accommodated.

Cancellation Policy

- Up to 10-8 days before the start of the trip: 20%

- Up to 7-2 days before the start of the trip: 30%

-A day before, to the day before: 40%

-Cancellation on the day of the trip or after the trip has started or no contact or non-participation: 100%
